From concept, to painting, to stretched and finished, the time frame is approximately 1-2 months.
This includes drying time for both natural pigments and finishing, so that shipping will be safe for your painting.
I use natural pigments sourced from domestic and French suppliers, many of which source from quarries in France. I use organic, dark roast espresso coffee and tea, and source organic, unbleached cotton canvas and linen from various sources.
Some original pieces are on vintage linen sourced from brocantes in the Provence region.
I use kiln-dried pine stretcher bars and stretch the pieces myself in my studio.
All paintings are finished using a non-toxic, soy-based fixative.
